Social bookmarking and SEO

Bane of marketers is internet the traffic generation techniques will be obsolete in a few days. It seems that every time you master a technique somebody pulls out of the PNP and is no longer a good technique. Search engines are worked on all the time. Internet marketers, you should use proven and reliable techniques that are more than a day-and-done methods. Such an approach is social bookmarking.
Social bookmarking
For those who know that internet marketing is a long-term process, we also know that social bookmarking is the ultimate tool. Basically, it can share content with fellow users and in turn increase traffic to your website. This is one of the most powerful marketing techniques used by experienced internet marketers. In my opinion, article marketing and social bookmarking is the best traffic building techniques. Here, I would like to explain the procedure in detail.
The process of
As a start, you must subscribe to one of the Web sites, social bookmarks manager. There are many websites specifically catering for this service and some paid too much. However, the best things in life are free. Personally I would recommend SocialMarker.com to my audience. This site has the most user friendly interface and bookmarking streamlines the whole process. It is a great choice for beginners and professionals since it works like a charm and delivers its promise
The main website addressing all major bookmarking services including etc. Digg, Reddit, NewsWire, which you can select the services that are available here, simply by checking the corresponding box. You may continue, and then to enter other basic information prior to a bookmark. This step involves entering the title, text, labels, and the connection of the bookmark that you want to add. Click the submit button and this is done. So simple, it is not.
SEO and social bookmarking
Social bookmarking is already a plus SEO for search engines of your Web site. But this can be further strengthened using SocialMarker. For example, in the text box and the label box, you can add your SEO keywords to improve your rankings. This is the method used to obtain statistically awesome traffic (for Google and Yahoo) in recent months. Also, I would recommend that you use with the video marketing also, once the video is the rage these days. option of DoFollow also offered to users. This provides high quality backlinks along with bookmarks. DoFollow links are known to improve SEO rankings.
All the social bookmarking context checking, you must be registered with. This means that you may need to register with numerous websites. This may take hours, and is plain boring. The solution is to entrust this task and make it cheap. Saves me enormous time, I would like to website development and Internet marketing.
SocialMarker is a great tool in the hands of marketing on the internet. However, there are other options as well as SocialPoster. The rationale is similar, but the layout is different. You can choose to go with either a still await improvement in air traffic.
Want to create more traffic for free? Learn traffic building technique is my favorite. I've used this technique to 2309 visitors with 10 minutes of work. Find me a free video course, explaining this technique for a limited period of time.

SEO For Small Businesses - 3 Quick Concepts To Help Business Owners Get Started And Land On Page 1

Every business no matter their size should have a website. However, SEO for small businesses can be a challenge due to time and sometimes the high costs involved. In all cases, knowing at least your options and casting a wider net over the ways to market your online business is going to be key here. You need to know what SEO is of course which stands for 'Search Engine Optimization' and is the concept to organically drive traffic from prospects/customers typing in good keywords and finding keyword phrases that lands your website on the first page of Google (and other search engine sites).
SEO For Small Businesses - The 3 Concepts:

Know what a good keyword phrase is - Finding keyword phrases that you believe your prospectors are using to find a service or product is the most important strategy here. There are many free SEO tools around (just search Google!) that will provide statistics to help evaluate and determine which keywords are relevant and strong to drive traffic to your website.

Knowing something about the Google engine - Without being too technical, you need to understand that Google doesn't just look at your domain or website name and says I will rank you with all the other sites out there. There are other factors it uses; using a very complex algorithm (and changes quite often). Each page on your website is treated independently and Google will rank the page itself meaning you choose one keyword phrase per page and therefore can target different visitors to different pages. Using SEO for small businesses will be a real benefit here as they can split test and have different marketing campaigns at a very low cost if not free.

Competition is healthy - You need some competition right? Yes, because this is how you measure what's popular and in demand. But in order to land on the first page (of ten results per page), you need to knock one competitor off the first page and finding good keyword phrases is going to be the trick. There are many factors to help you along and include looking at the competition SEO keywords and keyword phrases they use, what other links can be found to the pages (backlinks) and what's the age of the domain as older domains are likely to be given extra credit when Google looks for ranking a page too.
This is only the start but many business owners should spend some time understanding a little about how online marketing and SEO works before engaging the services of a professional should they have the budget to do so.

Another Tip for you! The importance of having backlinks to your website is going to sit well with Google and credit you more so than competitor's who do not have any. It tells Google that you are an authority and known to other related domains adding extra credibility. Forums and internet groups are good place to start!
I invite you to keep up to date with my articles and blog posts which covers a lot of details and can be found at http://findingkeywordphrases.com/.

Optimizing For Search Engines Other Than Google

Many people feel that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is synonymous with "increasing Google Page Rank". While Google is the largest, it is by no means the only one. There are other companies that run search engines, and a significant number of users that rely on those services. Here are some ways to ensure that your site is visible on other search engines.Bing is the other heavy-hitter in the market. While it uses a very different ranking algorithm from Google, it still produces highly relevant and useful results to queries. Primarily, Bing weighs inbound anchor text more highly than the simple existence of inbound links (back links); the number of back links your site has counts for much less than on Google, even if those links come from authoritative sources. With Bing, you want to maintain the same domain name as long as you can, since Bing weighs the age of your domain more highly than updated content. However, you can ensure that your page ranks highly in both Bing and Google by maintaining the same domain name but providing fresh content on a regular basis.
Yahoo! is another major Google competitor; it is actually the second most popular search engine in the world. More than any other major search engine, Yahoo! gives a lot of weight to properly structured code on your page. If you want a high Yahoo! search engine ranking, you need to make sure that your page is W3C compliant, and that your most important content is high up in your code. Yahoo! gives a lot of weight to where information is located in the code for your page, instead of where on the page it may appear to the human user. Since properly structured code will not stop you from getting a high ranking with Google and other engines, and will help prevent viewing errors, there's no reason not to improve your code.
Ask.com is a much smaller than Google, Yahoo!, or Bing, holding only about 4% of the market share. However, 4% of hundreds of millions of users is still a large number, and you should still make sure your site ranks highly there. The primary feature of Ask.com is their successful implementation of universal search, where videos, images, text content, and more are all displayed in the same results listing. This means that you need to pay more attention to image and video tagging to rank highly on Ask.com, since your images might show up separately from the rest of your site in the results page for a given search. You should also make sure to submit your business's website to the Ask.com directory manually; don't wait for this engine to find you.
While Google may be the powerhouse, other search engines still carry a significant portion of the Internet population. Make sure that your site is optimized for all and not just Google. Speak to your web designer or SEO consultant about implementing some of these tips.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a complex and confusing minefield.
Much has been written and published about the subject therefore overcoming the problems you can come across can be time consuming and expensive.
Alternatively, a more cost effective and guaranteed solution for a first page Google ranking would be to invest in " One Hour Google " from Mike Cowles and is highly recommended.

The Importance of Unique Content

The underlying connection was closed: A connection that was expected to be kept alive was closed by the server.Using Unique Content for Your Blog and why it is very Important
Starting a blog is a challenge as bloggers need content in order to become established on the Internet. A blog needs content in order to be found and indexed by the search engines. Additionally, with unique content the blog has a greater chance of being ranked high by search engines. If the blogger's aim is to make money, but is struggling to produce content, outsourcing it may be a good option. However, this may not be the case for the blogger who has little or no money.
Because of these limitations, bloggers may obtain content for their blog elsewhere. For instance, autoblogs can be activated using an automatic script to extract articles from online directories and post them on the blogger's site.
Although bloggers are able to acquire cheap content quickly through this method, it is a tactic that, according to Internet marketing experts, will ultimately tarnish the blogger's reputation. Today, the search engines identify websites with duplicate content, and will reject those websites from being indexed. Google's spokesmen have publicly stated they are cracking down on websites, which use scripts to publish high volumes of duplicate content. Some website owners have been reported to have received penalties from Google for this violation, and their websites have been blacklisted from appearing in Google's search engine results.
Thus, patience is a virtue when it comes to creating a new blog. A new blog is expected to have few articles at first, and gradually build up its content, instead of having thousands of pages within the first few days.
Why not set yourself a goal of writing good content and posting it on your blog e.g. five times a week, Monday to Friday. When you break it down it's one piece of good content a day. Over a period of time you will have lots of content and an increase in traffic.
The best practice is to regularly write high quality content in your blog. If you can afford it, outsourcing subjects or topics to obtain relevant content is the second best option. Once you have built up a volume of unique content, the results will trickle in as visitors begin to find you through the search engines. It may take several months, but the result of having a successful blog is worth it.

Using Traffic Statistics For Keyword Ideas

I am going to make a couple of assumptions in this article. Firstly, I will assume that you keep statistics of your traffic activity and secondly, that you understand the importance of creating website content around targeted keywords. On the first point, it is imperative for you to monitor where your website traffic is coming from and moreover, if it is coming from search engines, you should monitor what keywords people are searching for in order to discover your site. This can give you some great keyword ideas. For example, last week I noticed that a couple of people had found my site based on a keyword that was appearing at number 14 on SERPs. It was not a keyword I was targeting and in truth, I was ranked by chance.
Upon further investigation I discovered that this was actually quite a popular search term. However, if people visited the current page on my site that was connected to that search term, they would have been disappointed because it was not a good match for what they were searching for. The natural solution was to create a page focused around that search term so that it was a good match and of course, I tagged it with that same search term before getting it indexed by the search engines.
Within just a few days this new page was ranked at number 4 on the search results for that keyword search term. Now that the page was genuinely relevant, people visiting my site for that search term were sticking around. And there were plenty of visitors coming my way.
This brings me to my second assumption that I made at the start of this article; the importance of creating content around targeted keywords. The page that I created around the search term had zero backlinks pointing to it and within just a few days of it being indexed by the search engines it was prominent on the first page of the search results.
Increasingly, search engines are ranking website pages on content relevance and quality. That is, if your content is genuinely built around targeted keywords and it is of sufficient quality that people arriving at your site from that search term end up staying for a while, your website will be regarded as a good match for those keywords. This tells me that backlinks are becoming less important whereas good keyword research and targeted content creation are becoming more important from an SEO perspective.
Hopefully, in this article I have demonstrated how monitoring your traffic statistics is one method that you can use to help you fine tune your keyword research. There are other methods of course which I will be covering in future articles.

Organic SEO Placement Guarantees: Good Value, Or Warning Sign?

As business owners, it's natural to want guarantees covering work. After all, most projects can have a guaranteed beneficial outcome. That's why it's natural to think well of SEO companies that offer guaranteed results: it's a promise that you'll have a good result, right? When you're talking about organic SEO, the answer is a definite no.Can SEO Companies Guarantee Ranking?
At the most fundamental level, it's just not possible to make any kind of certain declaration about where your company will end up in the results. The reason is simple: no one has control over Google's results, other than the Google algorithm. The same is true for Yahoo!, Bing - every major search provider uses a specific algorithm to determine how they organize what their users see. It isn't possible for anyone to artificially insert your company into that list. What's shown there is designed to be unbiased by definition; any search provider that did anything else would immediately lose credibility.
What SEO companies do instead is make your website as friendly to the known requirements for high ranking as it can be. This means adding keywords, adding content, optimizing code, and much more. But even with all these changes, it's still not an exact science. The exact details of how a particular engine gets its results are not public. It's not as simple as matching a checklist and achieving the desired result. Plus, there may be a lot of competition - other websites targeting the same people you're after, which makes it harder for yours to succeed. In addition, those other websites could have a significant advantage if they've been focused on organic SEO for longer, or are pursuing a more aggressive strategy than you. The bottom line is simple: unless SEO companies do research into specific keywords you're interested in, it's hard to even provide a guess of how successful you might be. Even if that research is performed, it's impossible to really provide a guarantee.
Ways That Companies Can Seem To Offer Guarantees
It isn't possible for any search marketing firm to offer a firm promise of a place in the top results. So how can any of those offering such promises make them come true? Well, some of them just don't. They attract customers based on promises, and then fail to deliver. So many people are looking to the internet for promotion that there is nearly an endless string of potential victims for this kind of scam. That is perhaps the best reason to be wary of guarantees: they may well indicate a company that is dishonest and actually unskilled at organic SEO.
If they actually provide some kind of delivery on their promises, there's a couple of ways to follow the letter of their statement without following the spirit. The most common is to achieve great results on search engines that no one has ever heard of. These may very well be paid engines that no one uses; they could even be maintained by the company itself. Another way is to simply target the least competitive keywords. This is the least dishonest, because it provides at least some possible benefit to you. However, focusing on very non-competitive keywords means they're probably neglecting some of the more competitive ones, which could well be the strongest ones for your individual strategy.
The best SEO companies won't offer you a promise of results. Instead, they'll pledge to do their best for you. They will promise strong tracking, analytics, and quantifiable progress.

Search Engine Optimization Tips 2012

Search engine optimization is still one of the best things you can do to promote your website in 2012 but the SEO industry is changing constantly and so we need to keep up to date in order to get the best results. Here are some SEO tips for 2012:
Search Engine Optimization and Social Signals
Social signals are going to be a big factor in search engine marketing going forward and if you want to ensure best results then it is important to create a strong social media profile including websites such as Facebook and Twitter. Be careful how you do this though and build your followers and fans base. Present useful and authoritative information that people will enjoy reading. For Facebook you need to create a business page that is open to the public to really benefit - personal profiles generally do not count.

Integrate
Another important tip when it comes to search engine optimization in 2012 is to integrate. Integrate as much as possible - your social media, SEO, email marketing, article marketing, etc, etc. This not only saves you a lot of time, enabling you to make use of more tools but also gets better results.

Link Building
The basics such as link building and on-page optimization will still remain important and so it is important to not forget them. Get quality links to your websites using blogging, article marketing, paid advertising, and other methods that are acceptable to the search engines.

On-Page Optimization
Do your keyword research properly - I find using a combination of Google Insights and the Google keywords tool great in terms of coming up with the best keywords for my articles and websites. Don't guess at what people want but actually find out. Generate quality content for your site that is correctly keyword optimized and see the results.

Stay Up to Date
In order to stay ahead of the competition in search engine optimization it is important to continually be educating yourself in this field and learning the latest news - get the RSS feed of the Official Google blog, read articles and ebooks on the subject, and regularly monitor the news in this field yourself to know what is happening.
As you go into 2012 keep an eye on these factors - social signals and integration, and don't forget the 'old faithfuls' of link building and on-page keyword optimization. We wish you all the best for 2012 as you implement these tips and may your online business get excellent search engine optimization results.

The Best SEO Strategies Start With Spring Clean-Up

If you have been building your website for awhile but have not given adequate attention to search engine optimization, it might be time to hire an SEO agency to implement a strategy quickly. The thing with SEO is that it takes time to really start showing the big results. This is why any SEO company would recommend you start your campaign before you even choose the URL for your site.It is too late now to pay attention to that advice, so it is time to clean up your site and put your head together with an SEO agency that can quickly get your optimization strategy started. No matter how large your site is, you have to go through page by page and do some spring cleaning and resorting to make your website as presentable to the search engines and human eyes as possible. Some sites will need more work than others, so hopefully yours will be one of the faster sites to clean.
Your Navigation System
How is your website content structured? Do you have a messy string of web pages connected in no clear order? Have you been working with a tiered system where everything has a place? Let's hope you have been building your site with some type of clear system, because that will make it much easier for your viewers to navigate.
Most viewers are going to come to your website through pages other than your homepage. They are then going to look to your navigation system to help them find exactly what they want to read in as little time as possible. Ideally, your site will be set up to get your visitors from any page to their destination page in no more than three clicks. If it takes more than three clicks, many visitors are going to give up and go elsewhere. They will simply assume you don't have what they are after.
If you have visitors clicking out of your website quickly because your navigation is off, that will affect your ranking with the search engines. Make sure your site has a system and that pages are connected together so that every page can be reached in just a couple clicks, if not a single click.
Internal Links
On every page of your website, add links to other pages of your site. These links should be created with keywords that are relevant to the pages you are linking to. Not only does this help human visitors find other pages of your site that they need, but it helps the search engines discover other pages of your website so they can be ranked as well. If you have a large established site this could take some time, but working with an SEO agency could reduce the work you have to do on your own.
How long has it been since you have updated your website? Most large established websites have many pages that have not been updated with fresh content for many months, if not many years. If you have some pages like that on your own site, it is time to go through them and make sure they are packed with relevant, up-to-date information on the keywords chosen. Once that is done, you might be ready to work with an SEO company to further optimize your site.

1. See the big picture
If you want to run a profitable small business on the web, it is important to have a good SEO (search engine optimization) plan that combines proper keyword research (Worktracker and Overture are 2 great tools used by experts), knowledge of target market and its needs and simple site structure (easy navigation) to ensure optimum website visitor experience that helps increase website popularity. So, include on-page SEO, off-page SEO (link building via article marketing, forum posting, blog comments etc.) and social media marketing, which is very popular currently, in order to drive relevant traffic to your website by shifting your perspective from a single resource to all available web resources for best website SEO results.

2. Have a proper keyword SEO strategy in place
In order to achieve website SEO goals, it is important to chalk out a proper SEO strategy for keyword research and utilize the top keywords for your niche throughout your company's online branding and internet marketing messages. This means, you should have a prioritized list of your company's market niches, so you can define hot keywords and phrases most commonly used by prospects during their online searches and include these in various online marketing campaigns you will be implementing for driving targeted traffic to your website.

3. Take professional help to get professional results, but do your homework
Even if you hire an SEO company to help you promote your website, it is important to do your homework so you get the desired results from your website SEO campaign. For optimum website promotion results, web business owners should ensure that their sites can adapt to change. SEO Resolutions for 2012

The search engine has definitely evolved since I began work as an SEO more than ten years ago - we're talking when Google was still in beta. Every year I worked in this business, I took the first few days of January to reflect on what worked and what didn't in the previous year, and set my goals from there. Because I have clients across various industries and businesses, my strategy will clearly differ from that of the in-house SEO agent working for the visibility of his company. Nonetheless, I hope I can offer some support to those of you new to the game who want to achieve high rankings and click-through rates. In the old days, we believed all we had to do was constantly ping the major search engines and directories and stuff META tags with keywords. Indeed, the engines are wise to that now, and these days you don't even have to submit a URL to a search engine to get cached. Despite all the tricks and gray/black hat techniques SEO folks have employed over the years there remain a few constants:

1) Good, relevant content. Your site needs it, and you have to write it. What drives click-throughs and events like purchases and queries to your contact form is solid content that properly presents your mission statement. Whether you sell clothes or candy, or use your site to advertise your plumbing business, the content must relay that information to the visitor in direct manner. Relevancy and quality are the keys to helping improve your search rankings.

2) Quality links. Early on in the SEO game, I knew the link farms were worthless, as did any search specialist worth his salt. You can have a hundred or so inbound links from places like that, and it won't benefit you at all. This doesn't mean you should pursue linkage in the new year, but you need to find the quality sites that stand to give you the authority you need to stay ranked high.

3) Be accessible. At the end of the day, the most important page on your site is the one with the contact information. If the phone number is wrong and the form doesn't work, you lose sales and leads. If you do one thing this year to improve your web presence, make sure people are able to contact you easily when they wish.
Be alert of trend as you work on your SEO strategies, but don't sacrifice good content for cheap tricks.

The Ever-Changing SEO Agency

If you have ever dreamed of working on Wall Street, then you might be an ideal candidate for a job with an SEO agency. That may seem like quite a stretch to go from stocks to search engine optimization, but both industries are quite chaotic and involve a lot of risk. Someone working with stocks, especially those who work with and control the money of clients, will have to keep up with changing markets and evolutions in the business world every single day. The same thing goes for the SEO expert who has to follow the changing tides of Google and the search engine market.Just as someone who trades stock holds considerable amounts of money for their clients, someone working in an SEO company holds the future of websites worth a lot of money to their clients. Both of these career fields involve considerable amounts of risk, as there is a lot at stake for the clients who entrust their finances and businesses to these SEO professionals.
Changing with the Times
Whenever Google decides to make a big change in the algorithm used to determine ranking for websites, it sends uproar through the SEO community. An SEO agency serving clients that are negatively affected by the changes must scramble to figure out what the new algorithm is and make changes to get their clients back on good footing. Whenever there is simply a rumor of changes to be made with Google, you can find many SEO companies on pins and needles waiting to see what is going to happen and how it is going to affect their clients and their business.
The truth is, you don't really know what is happening with Google until it actually happens. There may be warnings and rumors leading up to a major change, but no one really knows exactly what is going to happen until it is in the process of happening. In fact, many big changes like the recent Panda Update unravel over time, so no one really knows the full scope until months later.
This means someone working with an SEO company must be on their toes at all times. They must follow changing trends, consort with other professionals in the field, and follow blogs written by the biggest minds in the industry. The SEO professional who doesn't keep up with the times and make changes as appropriate quickly stops being a professional. They get out of date really quick, and are no longer effective for clients.
Working with an SEO Agency
If you have worked with an SEO agency in the past, you may know that they are constantly changing their techniques a little here, nipping something in the bud a bit there, or experimenting with new strategies behind the scenes. This type of active growth and exploration is what makes an SEO company effective. It is what makes clients line up, waiting to benefit from the research and innovation of those talented SEO professionals.
If you have a website or know that your business is not getting the online attention it deserves, this is the type of SEO agency you want to work with. You want to work with someone who is up with the times, because when the next big algorithm change occurs these professionals will make sure you are protected.

Search Engine Optimization Specialists for Perfect Website Boosting

Search engine optimization deals with the processes involved in improving the visibility of a website or web page. These processes are geared towards improving a site's ranking in search engines. In general, when the contents of a website are increased, the website's traffic quality increases and consequently top ranks are achieved. Usually, websites that have low content appear less frequently in the results. Such websites normally have low volumes of traffic. To attract a larger traffic, a search engine optimization specialist needs to come in. The specialist will give a website the web presence it deserves. Website marketing has been an ongoing process for quite some time now. It is the only online website marketing strategy believed to be reliable. But the phenomenal accomplishments underlying it can only be possible with an expert in the world of online marketing.Search engine optimization as a strategy of website marketing needs a specialist who understands its vast working principles. In this case, an Optimization specialist should be considered. This specialist knows what kind of things people often look for. In this regard, the specialist is able to optimize the contents of a site to enhance its relevance to certain keywords. Since the specialist has a vast knowledge in optimizing, he will ensure he does away with all barriers to search engine indexing. Since some sites have potentially unnecessary content, most of them will require culling from the site. The Optimization specialist will bring in a meticulous know how of what exactly needs to be initialized to bring out a significant change to a website.
As the saying goes, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" and having a website optimizer is the cradle of any successful business or organization. That means that the primary objective of any firm should be to have an Optimization specialist so their websites are given the best search results. As a conventional way of web marketing, promotional skills come in handy with the web specialists. Thus, website owners need their services. If you are considering initiating a website, hiring a specialist should be your first option. It is always considered worthwhile to hire an Optimization specialist at the initial steps of website building rather than wait until it is fully established. When it is properly managed at its initial stages, it is able to generate large traffic and ultimately high profits to the owner.
Hiring a search engine optimization specialist is regarded as a milestone in the process of building up a site. This is usually a significant step though most people do not realize it. This breeds ignorance that ends up bringing downfall to a website. You should always expect to have the best results from a specialist. Specialists uphold quality above any other thing. The value of quality is to help maximize results from any given page. Website owners who underestimate the value of specialists end up having their sites loose "top page ranks." Top page ranking as the best traffic tracker has gained popularity over other ways of attracting traffic. For top page ranking, keywords for search engine are placed ingeniously to attract many internet users. Once the users are connected, they should find it easy to navigate to the sites shown by the specialist codes and back to their desired sites.

Key Strategies on SEO Marketing

In this article you will discover some of the most effective SEO tactics that can increase your site ranking and attract more people to go to your website, without spending too much money. First, you will discover four key areas that you can optimize on your website. Then we will talk about getting links from other websites. After reading this article, you should be able to start optimizing your website and get a better ranking on a search engine.
Optimizing your website to get better ranking
There are a lot of things that will affect the ranking of your website on a search engine. And here are four important elements that have crucial effect on your search engine ranking:
Page Title: you need to ensure that the title of the website or webpage has your main targeted keyword. Usually it is a keyword in your industry that you would like to rank for. It will be ideal if your main keyword is inside your domain name. The content: A search engine will go through your content and see if your content really matches what you said in title. It is achieved by mentioning your keyword, or variation of keyword, several times in your webpage. Those keyword variations are called "long tail" keywords, which is discussed below.Target "long tail" keywords: These keywords are the variation of the targeted keyword. The reason why you should target them is that, if you are mentioning the same exact keyword many times in the article, both human and a search engine will find that it is not natural to read, which will result in lower ranking. To avoid this problem, it is necessary to mention the same thing in different style, or mention it in different ways. No matter how you are doing it, your objective is to make your webpage easy to read by both human and a search engine.High quality content: it is probably the most important but overlooked point. Try your best to write something that is useful or interesting, and both human and a search engine will want to read, share and like it.

Getting links to your site
Another important element in SEO is getting links. However, the quality of link is more important than that of quantity. A link coming from a high authority news site will be more valuable than a link coming from a newly created forum. High authority sites include but not limited to: articles sites, news sites and high traffic volume forums. Posting an article to those site or leaving a post on forum with your website link can help your search engine ranking.
Although links coming from external site are critical to your ranking, internal links are also important. Internal link is the link pointing to another page within the same site. Suppose you have a product page and a blog post talking about that product, the link authority from that blog post to the product page still counts. And in search engine, the ranking of that product page will be higher than that of blog post.

Top 5 Link Building Strategies for Your Site

Improve Search Engine Ranking with these Link Building StrategiesThe best Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experts can guide and assist you in link building strategies that will increase your website's visibility on the internet. The following categories of backlinks give an excellent overview of the wide variety of options available for improving your site's SEO ranking.

Links from Multiple Domains
While your link building strategies should focus on volume, your plan should not be to get most links from a single site. Instead, work towards just a few links from many sites for best results.
As search engines rank sites, they consider how relevant the content is to the keywords and search terms. When you get links from multiple domains, you demonstrate that many sources find your content useful.
This is critically important when you develop additional backlinks from authoritative domains.

Deep (Ingrained) Links
Instead of directing links to your site's main page, use links directly to specific pages of content or images. These are known as deep or ingrained links, and they show that you have important information throughout your site, not just isolated on the home page.
Using deep or ingrained links adds to your ability to use important keywords for greater ranking in search engine results. You can spread these words throughout your site as appropriate, which will ensure a user-friendly overall appearance.

Links to Local Sites
If your link building strategies don't include neighboring customers, you are missing out on a large opportunity. It is exciting to develop international backlinks, but it is the locals that will keep you in business.
Obtaining authoritative links from local sources is far easier than from nationwide or internationally renowned experts. Nearby specialists enjoy building their communities by working with neighboring businesses. SEO rankings will climb when you include local authorities such as the Chamber of Commerce or the Better Business Bureau for your state. Consider local organizations, libraries, museums, and similar as well as your local government agencies. Directories like yellowpages.com and superpages.com are also excellent options. You might have to pay a fee for the service, but this tends to be very low. Some of those you approach will jump at the chance for a quid pro quo linking relationship.

Links to Authoritative Domains
Sites classified as authoritative on a subject are those that offer expertise in a given industry or specific field. For example, nytimes.com has extensive, reliable, and accurate information on events relevant to New York. Its strong reputation as a source of specialized knowledge lends it authority on New York news.
Link building strategies that include government and university websites lead to high ratings, as these are accepted as authorities on their subject matter. They can be easily recognized by their.gov and.edu domains, for example IRS and California State University (DH).
Authoritative domain links lead visitors to extensive amounts of quality, well researched information, and they often contain additional links that lead to good sources for further exploration.

Linking through Anchor Text
The strongest and most popular tool available today is linking through anchor text. For best SEO ranking results, be sure to make this part of your link building strategies.
They work by turning your text into hyperlinks, so as readers go along, they can click on an interesting keyword. The link directs them to the page you specify, which makes your keywords even stronger, improving your site's ultimate ranking.

Grow Your Rankings with an SEO Expert Today
Higher rankings mean higher traffic to your site, which results in more business for you. Don't delay in designing and implementing your link building strategies. Begin with the five ideas listed here, and consider a professional SEO expert for even greater success.

Why Do Long Tail Keyword Research?

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Why do long tail keyword research? First we have to define what that is. Most everyone in Internet marketing understands the importance of keywords. We know that in some mysterious way Google, Yahoo, Bing and Ask.com and the other search engines use key words in indexing your site, a process tied to a methodology known as Search Engine Optimization, or SEO. What SEO means to the Internet marketer is that when someone searches Google or one of the other search engines, your site not only comes up on the first page, it comes up in one of the first three positions on that first page. Ask yourself when the last time was that you even went to the second page on a Google search, or for that matter, lower than the fourth or fifth entry on the first page. Of course you don't. Nobody does.

If keyword research is so important, what is long tail keyword research, and why is it so important that we do it? To understand this important SEO concept we need to look back at the early days of Google, Yahoo and the other search engines. Some of us can remember a time when searches had to be an exact match. A misspelling or an extraneous word would render a search useless.

Long tail keyword research is built on the fact that Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask.com and the other search engines now go to great lengths to match the intention of the searcher with the correct information offering. This process is often referred to as a funnel. In the same way a physical funnel widens the opening of a container so a substance, usually a liquid, can end up in its intended receptacle, this keyword funnel gives the Internet search the widest initial opening to insure it has the best chance of reaching the site containing the information being sought.

Long tail keyword research starts where the searcher is. The primary reason people come to the Internet is to find information. If they are seeking information to solve a problem, they may not have a clearly defined search in mind. The somewhat rambling search phrase they enter into Google, Bing, Yahoo, Ask.com or any other search engine forms the basis for a long tail keyword. Research on what phrases are being entered into search engines will tell the Internet marketer what keywords or long tail keywords to use in articles, blogs or other information posted on the Internet. This can be a key to success in Internet marketing.

Using SEO to Manage Your Online Reputation

As an increasingly huge number of consumers and customers are now turning online to share what they think of a particular brand or company, the internet has become a powerful tool to showcase a business' presence, credibility, and accountability, as well as for spreading news, sharing opinions, and boosting online reputation. With the escalating popularity of social media sites like Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter to name a few, social networking platforms have become a powerful tool for creating a first good impression on the public, as well as reaching out and delivering content to thousands of people.
With these in mind, according to a search engine optimization expert, for a business to survive online, it must first establish, earn, and manage a good online reputation.
To achieve this, it must first establish and earn trust and respect as these are the two most important principles of a successful business that measure any business' or individual's credibility and accountability.
You can boost and manage your online reputation through efforts at search engine optimization.
SEO Strategies That Can Help You Manage Your Online Reputation

1. Assess Your Business Standings
Before you can manage your online reputation, you must do an assessment and evaluation of where you stand. You can do this by typing your names in search engines.

2. Create content that Outranks Negative Result
Proactively post useful, positive information about yourself or your business. In this way, you might reduce the visibility of the bad content in the search results. Google suggests that to push the negative links down or off SERP, you can respond to negative reviews of your business. You can use your social networks' profiles in posting your response as profiles from these sites are powerful tools for this purpose.

3. Make an Identity Hub
To push your positive online presence further up in search results, create a hub that connects to all of your content. Then push your hub to the top of search results for your name by:
Claim your domain name. Makes sure to include the search term in the URL of your web page in order to tell search engines what the page is about.
Reference Yourself. A good way to tell search spiders that the page is about you is to use your name a lot like using your name in tabs and headers.
Link to Your Content. Nowadays, Google has now taken into account each link to your site as a vote for your site. So make sure to have more reputable links as these are considered better votes. Likewise, make sure to sign up for as many social media profiles as possible and then link them all to your hub as their "votes" count as much more reputable than a page you just created.
Post Regularly. Search engines like fresh content. One way to create this is to post your social media feeds to your blog.

SEO Content Writers Can Drive Relevant Traffic to Your Website

Hiring an SEO content writer who can create high quality content for your website is the best way to drive business relevant traffic to your website. The size of your business or the sector to which it belongs is immaterial when it comes to good SEO content's ability to increase your sales and profits. Some people might be familiar with the concept, some might not. Nevertheless, the basic purpose of search engine optimization is to increase your visibility on the internet and drive more people and greater audiences to your website.

What It Is
When you hire an SEO content company, there main aim will be that search engines spot your website and list in the first two pages of any search relevant to your business and services. This is done by writing good, keyword rich content and spreading it across the internet.
The SEO content services will first identify keywords that form the essence of your business and services. They will then incorporate these keywords into various articles and put them up on the web. What happens is that when people now search for services close to what you provide. Depending on the intensity of the SEO campaign, you will appear higher up in the search.

How It Can Help
The trick to its success depends on how accurate your keyword selection has been. The idea is that your SEO content writer should be able to astutely tell that based on research, these are the keywords that are the best for your company.
Moreover, the usage of that keyword should also be spot on. The standard is 2-3%, i.e. for every 100 words of SEO content, 2 - 3 of those words should be your keywords. However, the usage should not be so overt as to damage the quality and worth of that content.
Another important consideration is that your SEO content services must also provide readable and useful content. SEO content only meets its target if people read it and find it informative. It must be interesting and not written loaded with keywords but without coherence or any structure.
If done, an SEO copywriting package will definitely boost your business and drive up your profits. Well written content can successfully infiltrate your target audience and drive them to your website with informative and accurate content. Social Networking and SEO - What Is the Connection?

You go on Facebook to connect with your family members who live all over the country. You share with your friends on Twitter. You may even use LinkedIn to make business connections or find a new job after graduating college. You also have your own website and are busy implementing an SEO strategy to ensure you are valued and recommended in search engine results pages. It may seem like your social networking accounts have nothing to do with your SEO strategy, but you would hear something very different if you were to consult with an SEO agency on the matter.Search engine optimization now extends far beyond your website. There are many off-site SEO strategies that work with your optimized website to deliver high search engine rankings. Just as you have probably put some work into securing high quality backlinks, you would be advised by any reputable SEO agency to put more effort into exposing your business through social networking channels as well. There are a few ways you can do this, and you should be doing all three at the same time:
• Put links on your website for visitors to share your web pages with others through their networking accounts.
• Advertise your website on your personal networking accounts.
• Set up networking accounts on behalf of your business or website.
This first option is the most valuable to your SEO campaign. The more people find your web pages useful and choose to share them on their social networking profiles, the more votes of confidence you receive with the search engines. If you have pages on your site that are shared all the time, that can have a big impact on how the top search engines rank your website. They will then share your site with searchers using their services as well.
The other two options are more aimed at bringing exposure to human viewers, but they are valuable in their own right as well. Use all three strategies together and you could boost the traffic to your website considerably.
In order to make networking work for your SEO strategy and for the attraction of human viewers, your website must have something worth sharing. Every single page on the site should be well written, with lots of information for your viewers to soak up. If you just throw up a simple sales letter or shallow landing page, very few people are going to click those buttons to share on their personal networking accounts. You have to give them something worth sharing.
This is why search engines are now using social networking shares to rank different websites, and it is exactly why a reputable SEO agency will spend the time to encourage people to share through social networking sites. No SEO company is going to waste time on something that doesn't pay off, so you can guarantee there is a connection between your website optimization and your social networking habits.
Offer something of value and allow your visitors to share your pages and bring your rating up. Next time you are on a great website and see the option to share on your social networking accounts, do them a favor and share their pages as well.

Why Do You Need Backlinks?

Anyone operating an SEO agency knows that many people do not fully understand what backlinks are or why they are so important to websites and blogs today. They know this because the people who hire an SEO company to increase their search engine rankings often ask what backlinks are and how they can be obtained. Most people have heard of these links, but that is very different than understanding how they operate. If you have been wondering this yourself, this article will give you the answers you need. What are Backlinks?
One of the things an SEO agency will work on for every website or blog they represent is the accumulation of backlinks. This term simply refers to links that go from other websites or blogs into the site or blog being optimized. In order to be effective, these backlinks need to be on highly ranked websites or blogs that have solid reputations with the top search engines.
Think of it as customer endorsements. Marketers get convincing, reputable people to be the "face" of their brand and tell everyone that they recommend a particular product, and those personal recommendations and advertisements make sales for the brand or product. The same thing happens when backlinks are established for your website or site. You have other established, reputable websites or blogs saying your website or blog is a valuable place to spend time and find information. You are being promoted and recommended to the search engines.
That is a lot of power for one little link! Backlinks are powerful because if they come from highly ranked websites and are anchored with your top keywords, they can help drive your search engine ranking with time.
Why Do You Need Backlinks?
An SEO agency doesn't waste their time on things that bring small results. They want the big results for their clients, which is why it is so telling that every SEO company spends so much time developing high quality backlinks for every one of their clients. This is at the heart of SEO strategy regardless of what type of website or blog is being promoted.
Backlinks are important because they show the search engines that your website is considered valuable to other people in your niche or industry. You are increasing your network of endorsements and those endorsements will help you sell yourself to the search engines. Selling yourself to the search engines means getting prime position in the search engine results pages (SERPs). That can be very lucrative for your website or blog.
How to Secure Backlinks
There are many ways to create backlinks to your site, and an SEO agency would be able to tell you the most effective strategies for your website or blog in particular. Some of the most commonly used approaches include:
- Guest blogging
- Article Marketing
- Social networking
- Forum commenting
In order for any of these approaches to work, you have to make sure the posts and articles surrounding your backlinks are on-topic and well written. If you aren't sure how to implement these backlink strategies, contact an SEO agency for help.

Should You Hire a Web Designer or an SEO Company?

With the alarming number of people entering the Internet Marketing world it can be difficult to know who to partner with to build a website for your company. I've noticed over the last few years that the old saying,"you get what you pay for," doesn't really work on the Internet anymore. The challenging thing is that it is hard to tell until you've spent the money if it was worth it or not. The reality is, it doesn't matter how much you spend in online marketing - it's how much you get back!Take price off the table and determine what you are trying to get out of your website. Are you selling goods or services? Is it a resource of information for your current clients or are you trying to attract new ones? Are you looking for a web designer or an SEO company?

Web Designers
Pros: Good web designers have a skill set that is hard to teach. They channel some part of their brain that can create a visually stunning website that represents your brand and help you stand out. They're artists in every sense of the word and understand lines, colors and expression better than anyone. They usually have an easier time interpreting client demands and bringing concepts to life.
Cons: Traditionally web designers are NOT coders or SEO experts. Although the websites will be visually stunning, they may lack certain conversion features or not be search engine friendly at all. Often they work with someone else to "optimize" the website and its included in a one time charge. Since things change so often with search engine algorithms SEO can never be a set it and forget it thing. If you try the one and done approach the results are what they are - not too good. So when you go this route, factor in hiring a local SEO company to actually get the most out of your investment.

SEO Companies
Pros: Good SEO companies don't over promise results or set your expectations through the roof. They have a realistic understanding of how the Internet works and how search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing interpret websites and rankings. They don't implement black hat techniques that will generate quick results at the price of ending up in Google's sandbox and they maintain good reporting to help you validate your investment. Often they will want to write your content or have the ability to edit your content to make sure you are utilizing your target keywords effectively.
Cons: SEO companies can be more concerned with performance than design. Certain layouts or elements they know have a higher impact on conversion may take precedent over the most beautiful version of your website. SEO companies can also be more expensive over the long run because it does cost money to compete - especially if you are in a competitive market.

How Do You Choose?
If you are not concerned with visitors, traffic or conversion for your website definitely consider going with a web designer. If you choose the right one for your project you will be really happy with the results and the cost will be much lower in the long run.
If you are only looking to be found in the search engines for something like your company name or law firm name then you should be able to do some light reading on optimization and work with your designer to incorporate proper title tags for your site. If that doesn't do the trick you can always work with an SEO company on a short term basis to set things straight.
For anything else I really would recommend working with a good SEO company. Especially if you are looking to get clients from the internet. People search for the same thing 100 different ways today and you need to make sure you have a seat at every table to give yourself the best opportunity to succeed. A SEO company will structure your site correctly and build you a strategy that has your long term success in mind.

SEO - The Success Plan

Why Have An Optimized Website? Simple...Website optimization involves two main critical areas: (1) the search engines and (2) your web visitors.
Most web visitors click through only on the FIRST PAGE of the search engine listings, far fewer click to the second page, and even fewer to page 3. (Isn't that true with you too?) It is with me.
Data from Yahoo gives some "eye-opening" statistics on the percentage of click throughs, for the first 10 pages of a search pages listing:
• Page 1 - 42.4%
• Page 2 - 11.8%
• Page 3 - 8.4%
• Page 4 - 6.2%
• Page 5 - 4.9%
• Page 6 - 4.1%
• Page 7 - 3.4%
• Page 8 - 3.1%
• Page 9 - 2.7%
• Page 10 - 2.9% [up 0.2% from page 9]
That's a HUGE fall in click throughs from page 1 to 2 - in fact, it's a 30.6% drop!
Imagine how a page 2 ranking slashes your profits. (And most web pages list nowhere near page 2.)
Optimizing your website and a jump from page 9 to page 2 would give you a 9.1% increase in click throughs, and a 39.7% spike by moving to page 1.
What a HUGE difference a page 1 or even a page 2 ranking over a year could mean to your website profits!
According to website optimization experts, in Google:
• 42.1% of people click on the website ranked number 1
• 11.9% of people click on number 2
• 8.5% of people click on number 3
• 6.1% of people click on number 4
• 4.9% of people click on number 5
• 4.1% of people click on number 6
• 3.4% of people click on number 7
People are not going to take time to search beyond what is comfortable.
So by applying website optimization and increasing your website's ranking from #6 to #5, could result in a 0.8% boost in traffic (web visitors) to your website.
Moving from position 5 to position 4 could mean an extra 1.2% increase in traffic.
And amazingly, going from # 2 to # 1 could increase the number of visitors to your website by 30.2%!
How much could just a 5% daily spike in your number of web visitors, through proper website optimization, boost your profits over the course of a year?
It's vital you insert your HTML code, meta tags and keywords properly on each page of your site. This aspect of website optimization is known as "on-page optimization."
But search engines also rank your website higher if it has lots of quality websites linking back to you - known as "off-page optimization."
The more quality "back links" you have, the higher you'll rank. And the more keyword-rich content you have on your website, the more other websites will want to link back to you.
When visitors ("traffic") come to your website, they have a purpose - usually to solve a problem. If your home page is all about you - how long you've been in business, all the awards you've won, and so on - your visitors just click away.
And they'll keep clicking until they find a website that focuses on them and gives them a solution to their problem.
So your website has to focus on your web visitors and make their experience pleasant.
Your content, navigation and other links and headings on each page must help your web visitors find what they're looking for quickly and easily.
But before you can apply website optimization you have to find the best keywords to use.
Keyword research and selection is not just a vital part of website optimization - it's the foundation of a successful online business. Yet choosing the right keywords is a tricky affair.
Even though some keywords get thousands of searches, they may be poor candidates for your website. You have to find keywords that bring you the right kinds of visitors, quality traffic, that will give you leads and sales. The last thing you want is traffic that just comes to your website for information, and then goes elsewhere to make their purchase.
Likewise, SEO copywriting is essential for successful website optimization.
Not only do you want your website to rank well, but you also want your web copy to be persuasive - so it funnels a good percentage of your web visitors to leave you their name and email address or go to your shopping cart.
Shopping cart optimization is another important, yet often neglected, part of website optimization.
Your eCommerce website exists to make sales and keep you in business. The more sales you get, the higher your profits will be and the faster your business grows.
If your shopping cart throws "obstacles" at your prospects, your abandon rate is high.
Do You Know How to Optimize Your Website?
Do you have the spare time to (1) learn how to do keyword research and selection, do SEO copywriting, shopping cart optimization and then (2) actually apply all these website optimization skills to your website so it works well for both the search engines and your web visitors?
If your answer is no, then let me do it for you.
If you fail to do your "on-page website optimization," you'll get just a trickle of leads and sales - compared to the flood your competitors get from their well-optimized websites.
And what about all that repeat business you lose each day? Will you get it back or will it be gone forever?

Reselling: It Is A-Changing, Hold Onto Your Customers

These days are crucial for all those who have been reselling SEO services for years. This year is surely not like past ones, with the entire online market going through many blows and issues. For example, Google has been under attack for many months now, and how the search engine sector is being managed is still in question. This, on the other hand, is not just a ridiculous banter to people who have been depending on the business for years. As SEO continues to experience difficulties, the whole business is most likely to suffer along with it. And the Search Engine Optimization Reselling sector belongs to this equation. When the controversy of Google's suspected monopoly of the search engine industry surfaced on the Web and on TV, and when the Google Panda uproar headlined news contents on the Web, several company proprietors questioned the soundness and weight of SEO Resellers that knock on their doors to introduce their services. The mentioned company proprietors are both those who use SEO services as one of their marketing approaches and individuals who do not. Therefore, resellers are now having troubles gaining new customers, in addition to retaining those who they currently have.
Consider the Increasing Competition
Most resellers always find an approach to appear like the owner of the enterprise they're promoting, but because of the emergence of bloggers and writers who expose the truth about the Search Engine Optimization Reselling business, it is now becoming less of a secret to numerous individuals. This in turn makes their methods weaker and their enterprise less trustworthy. Moreover, considering that several individuals are now into social networking sites, a number of resellers are coming up with novel methods to promote their service and expand their target market, which makes a number of normal resellers less favored to firm owners. In addition, as a result of the strengthening social media industry, more and more people are now becoming attracted to the concept of reselling a particular company's service rather than putting up their very own trade which can both be pricey and time-consuming.
Focus on client retention
If you've been in the business for years, you have to create methods to retain your existing clients. Obviously, you still need to get new customers, but giving more time and exerting added effort on your existing clients is a great method to gain security. Always remember how hard convincing a client is just for them to entrust their enterprise to you, and make it your inspiration to do your best to preserve your existing customers.
The issue with most resellers these days is their complacency when they get their future customer's "yes." They forget to remind themselves that acquiring clients is more like caring for a baby or even a pet. A child needs to be continuously cared for and supervised. Their needs should likewise be provided to them. Much like the earlier scenario, customers always wish to get pampered, and nobody wants to be forgotten.
Giving your current customers a ring each day as if you are carrying out a standard check-up is a good way for them to feel how important they are to you. Ask them what they need to have, what they liked, what they didn't like, and your areas for progress. In addition, do not quit making excellent things for them. Offer them discounts, some free merchandise from your company, or set up some kind of rewards system. Cite them on your blogs. I know a certain reseller who even refer to his buyers on his tweets as if he is just aimlessly advertising them, like they're a portion of his day-to-day life.
Indeed, there are plenty of other methods to show your customers just how much they mean to you. Ultimately, it is for you to know what certain items make your clients content. This only goes to show how crucial knowing your clients properly is.
To retain your customers and to avoid them from transferring to a "more caring" SEO reseller, continuously aspire to please them. Making them content has to be on top of your priorities, as failing to do so can result in losing them altogether.

Simple Tips for Search Engine Optimization Methods

Improving your website ranking is a race, often to the death (of the other websites). If you have created an online business only to find it struggling in a mire at the lower portion of search engine rankings lists, then you need to take steps to make sure that you start to improve your website, and get more traffic onto your pages. In order to do this, you will need to learn a few SEO methods. These are the vital resources that can help you get ahead in the race for customer interest. There are several tried-and-tested techniques for search engine optimization methods. The first, and perhaps most important, is to do your keyword research. Keywords are the lifeblood of any website, and they can also provide you with valuable information about the types of people who search your site, and their other interests. By finding out the most popular keywords for your specialty, you can improve your website. A few word changes later, and you will have more traffic flocking to your door. However, keyword research has to be done accurately, so it is sometimes best to allow a search engine marketing solutions company to do this side of the job for you.
You can also use another of the search engine optimization methods to help you, known as Full URL Linking. This involves making sure that you add the full link of your web pages to the search engine site. This helps the search engine to look through your site more easily, giving you more points. You should also change the quality of your SEO at the same time, using good quality texts, rather than quantity, and updating it regularly to insure repeated visits.
You should also use the SEO search engine optimization methods to help you make the website easier to use for both man and machine. Create SEO friendly tags on your title, including your top-ranking keyword. Embed these into the title area of the website, blog or HTML folder. You should also add more SEO-orientated Meta Tags. Ensure that this contains the major keyword at least once. Place this in the title section again to allow the search engine software to feel its way around your website using the tags. There are also many other things that you can do in order to improve the optimization of your site, but these are the ones which can be done quickly and easily.
For more detailed work, or for help on these methods, consult with a search engine marketing solutions specialist like http://www.infoyogis.com/ who can provide you with all the details you need to ensure that your website rise in the rankings.
