8 Ways to Get Your Site Listed on Google Within Hours

If you are new to internet marketing your time literally is money; and so it isn't uncommon to hear the question: "Are Keywords still necessary in my articles, lenses, hubs, blogs etc?" More, now than ever the answer is a resounding YES! Keywords tell give Google a quick idea what your site is about and tells it how you want it to be placed in it's search engine. So you are literally talking to Google when you add keywords.

Tip: Just like when you talk to people in real life, you will want to be careful what you say to Google. So remember, when you speak to Google use quality keywords over quantity. Some of the highest ranked sites out there (including ezine) only allow you to place 6 or so keywords.

None of us know all the criteria that Google uses when indexing and ranking a site. Google doesn't see the marketer or site builder as it's client but instead views the end user as the customer. This being said it is doing it's best to remove spam from it's search results and give bad ratings to sites that have poor content.

This being said there are some things you can do to tell Google's bots that the content on your site is high quality and is worth ranking highly.

Among these are: (if you are using Squidoo)

Put you main keywords as part of web addressUse your main keyword in each module (don't "keyword stuff" though), if you cant place it in every module try put them at the beginning and the end of the pageplace your main keyword in you bio area

(You can use this information on regular webpages accordingly too)

Other ways to make your page known to Google:

Use a variety of sources for backlinksRSS Sites: Feedage & Feed Agg are two of my favoritesSocial Bookmarking: Digg, Delicious, RedditBlogs: Blogger (It's owned by Google so it only stands to reason that it is going to cause your site to get found.)Internal Links: If your page is on a site like Hubpages or Squidoo then make internal links. Squidoo has an awesome module that will allow you to place your lenses up. Also, sites like Squidoo and Hubpages are crawled by search engines quite a bit and hold a high standing with them.Article Sites: Writing informative, high quality articles is a great way to draw in people as well as the search engines. It's hard work but well worth it.

Google AdWords Tool is an amazing free program that will give you an idea of what keywords to use. It's simple and easy to use yet robust.

How to Build SEO for Your Website the Right Way - Know What Google Wants

With the large number of websites currently available on the internet, it is becoming increasingly difficult to be noteworthy to Google and other search engines. If your website is well established, you are at least a step ahead of the new sites coming online each day, but that doesn't necessarily equate to the volume of traffic you are looking for.

The one thing that is constantly a positive when you want to garner the interest of future customers is to build SEO that gets Google's attention, and the way to do that is to know what Google wants.

Search engines are designed to be fair to all websites that compete for free space in the searches, so following the guidelines explicitly for the best exposure is the only way to expect to press closer to being located on the first page of an applicable search.

Keep Your Website Current

People who tell you that a website can be designed to run itself are not very perceptive of how the process works. Search engines like seeing new content each time they crawl a website, and visitors to your site will want to return often when you build SEO by keeping them supplied with new information on a topic of interest to them.

As people return and the traffic increases, Google will raise your rank and move you up the ladder. Keep your content original and do the research necessary to provide factual and interesting information. If you have a popular niche topic and provide updates often, you will build SEO and increase your ranking.

Optimization for the Search Engines

You should make it very clear what you are promoting on a website. This is true in the printed word, pictures, and videos, but it must also be true behind the scenes where the search engines pick up information.

The more straightforward and obvious your content is made, the higher that content will be ranked. You should have a description for a webpage that includes the keyword phrases for which you want to be ranked. Those same keywords need to be your tags so they build SEO.

Quality Backlinks

Off page SEO is the heart of selling your website, and it is represented by backlinks. Of course, where those backlinks originate has much to do with how highly they are regarded. Just as there are quality backlinks that can boost your ranking, there are also links that can damage your ranking, so it is important to understand the value the search engines place on the origin of the links and how they are obtained.

If your website information is useful and provides value to the reader, it is much easier to attract quality backlinks, many from sites that are already ranked high in searches. New content and link building must be a continual part of building SEO for your website. Give it the time and effort it deserves, and you will be well rewarded.

Google Panda Survival Tips

Google unleashed its Panda update upon the digital world early in 2011 and it changed the landscape for the SEO community and certainly focused the minds of many webmasters on paying far more attention to particular areas of their website when going about optimisation.
If you thought 2011 would spell the end of the matter you would be mistaken. Panda 2.2 is looming on the horizon and may well create as many surprises as the original.
So in order to ensure that your website has a good SEO strategy moving forward into 2012 what sort of things should you be considering?
Good Quality Content
It makes sense starting with this as good quality content should be at the forefront of any webmasters mind and its importance cannot be emphasised enough. Without this a website doesn't stand a chance. Remember that content should be original.
Diversification
Look closely at where your website traffic originates from and explore new avenues and opportunities for visitor generation. Being well optimised on Google organic searches is great however you should not allow your business to become solely reliant on this as its source of income. Even the best SEO's can make mistakes and sometimes things can occur that are out of your control that could affect rankings such as server issues or mistakes by colleagues.
Paid search is sometimes a good route of income that is not properly explored by many people. A common misconception is that organic searches convert better than paid ones however this is not the case and is usually the result of a paid search campaign gone wrong that has left a bad taste in the mouth of the advertiser. There are some things that can be done to help a PPC campaign yield better results;
· Keywords - use words that actually describe the bargain on offer and alternate your approach for different products or services.
· Cost - calculate the actual cost in obtaining and keeping organic rankings as sometimes this can be a lot higher than you first imagine. Compare this to your PPC costs.
· Reliability - organic rankings are never certain whereas as long as you cough up, paid search will appear on page 1.
· Control - one negative thing about SEO is the inability of the advertiser to fully understand or target users behaviour when making searches.
Understanding Success
This argument has been covered many a time but its well worth repeating here. Use KPI's (key performance indicators) to measure the success of SEO and monitor if changes to your site have affected both rankings and visitor statistics.
Use caution when using Google's own webmaster tools for stats as it will give personalised results when a user is logged in.
Make Friends
Otherwise known as community building and a bit of an unknown at present and with the ongoing discussion as to whether Google will at some point use social signals from +1 to determine rank. Of course a big part of this is whether +1 reaches a size where it will be worth incorporating it in the search algorithm.
Putting the time and effort in building a community will help lessen the impact that a Panda update may have in the future.
Make it Easy to Use
Remember to write for people to read, not a machine. Google's own guidelines tell us this and its well worth addressing this early rather than leaving it until further down the line when the damage may already have been done.

5 Secrets For A Successful Website In 2012: Google Panda 3.0 and Other Things

When Google announced changes to their search engine that were eventually known as "Panda" last February, thousands of website pages crashed. People lost 60-100% of their income. The changes were so serious that webmasters, site owners, internet business gurus, and even internet writers faced a decision: change their thinking on SEO, or get a new job.
In 2012, Google will be implementing more Panda. There's a Panda 3 on the horizon. And for your website to succeed this year, it's essential to know what Panda means for you.
We've listed the top five SEO changes that Google is focusing on this year, after scouring the web and pages of tech guru advice.
2012 SEO SECRET #1: Less keyword focus, more information. This might be the only secret here that comes as a surprise. Keyword research has always been huge for people. But today, it's the article with the most information instead of the article with the most keyword density, in Google (and Panda's) eyes. If your website has too many articles that are focused on keywords alone, it's time to rewrite the content - if you want to rank high in 2012. Content is still king, but this year, you should switch focus from keywords to providing information in every article. Experts are saying that the keyword density you include should actually be LESS than 2-3 keywords per article...and the focus should be on alternate keywords, and the subject itself. Example: If you are writing about "auto insurance," Google won't pick up your website if you have 100 500-word articles on the subject with 10-20 appearances of the keyword. Use the keyword twice and then use "vehicle insurance, motorists' insurance," etc. Stuck on synonyms? This is where a seasoned writer comes in handy!
2012 SEO SECRET #2: Improve usability for all users - mobile phone, iPad, iPhone, Tablet, Android...you name it. 2012 is going to be another year of serious web-surfing electronic users. And they're going to be accessing your website from a myriad of devices. You might have your website pruned and ready for Apple iPhones: but have you included Android? Make sure your webmaster is updating your website's scripts, usability and layout so that everyone on any device will be able to access it. Your content matters too. Make sure your main landing page is easy to read, not bogged down with too much information, and can be scrolled through in a flick of a finger.
2012 SEO SECRET #3: Blog more and socialize your blogging more. Tech and SEO experts are saying that Google Panda puts a lot of weight on how much blogging AND social media you're using. Do both more, and you rank higher with Google. Are you updating every blog you (or your writer) post on Facebook, Twitter and Google+? Hootsuite is a free handy tool that allows you to send out a universal post instantly to all your social media profiles.
2012 SEO SECRET #4: Google wants at least 400 words. If you're familiar with EzineArticles, you know that they don't accept articles below 400 words in length. There's a reason: Google doesn't want less, either. Make sure you or your writers are shooting for 350-400 words in every website page or blog. Rank higher by simply adding more quality content, articles or blogs to your existing website.
SEO SECRET #5: Absolutely NO article spinning, farming, or copying. Google is not tolerating any of this for 2012. Countless websites were penalized for this when Google Panda 2.5 came out in the latter half of 2011. Get rid of your article spinning software, and if you're not sure what "farming" means, keep it that way. This is the biggest thing about website content if you want your website to succeed - make sure, above all, you (or your writers) are using 100% original content (and lots of it).

Optimizing For Search Engines Other Than Google

Many people feel that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is synonymous with "increasing Google Page Rank". While Google is the largest, it is by no means the only one. There are other companies that run search engines, and a significant number of users that rely on those services. Here are some ways to ensure that your site is visible on other search engines.Bing is the other heavy-hitter in the market. While it uses a very different ranking algorithm from Google, it still produces highly relevant and useful results to queries. Primarily, Bing weighs inbound anchor text more highly than the simple existence of inbound links (back links); the number of back links your site has counts for much less than on Google, even if those links come from authoritative sources. With Bing, you want to maintain the same domain name as long as you can, since Bing weighs the age of your domain more highly than updated content. However, you can ensure that your page ranks highly in both Bing and Google by maintaining the same domain name but providing fresh content on a regular basis.
Yahoo! is another major Google competitor; it is actually the second most popular search engine in the world. More than any other major search engine, Yahoo! gives a lot of weight to properly structured code on your page. If you want a high Yahoo! search engine ranking, you need to make sure that your page is W3C compliant, and that your most important content is high up in your code. Yahoo! gives a lot of weight to where information is located in the code for your page, instead of where on the page it may appear to the human user. Since properly structured code will not stop you from getting a high ranking with Google and other engines, and will help prevent viewing errors, there's no reason not to improve your code.
Ask.com is a much smaller than Google, Yahoo!, or Bing, holding only about 4% of the market share. However, 4% of hundreds of millions of users is still a large number, and you should still make sure your site ranks highly there. The primary feature of Ask.com is their successful implementation of universal search, where videos, images, text content, and more are all displayed in the same results listing. This means that you need to pay more attention to image and video tagging to rank highly on Ask.com, since your images might show up separately from the rest of your site in the results page for a given search. You should also make sure to submit your business's website to the Ask.com directory manually; don't wait for this engine to find you.
While Google may be the powerhouse, other search engines still carry a significant portion of the Internet population. Make sure that your site is optimized for all and not just Google. Speak to your web designer or SEO consultant about implementing some of these tips.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a complex and confusing minefield.
Much has been written and published about the subject therefore overcoming the problems you can come across can be time consuming and expensive.
Alternatively, a more cost effective and guaranteed solution for a first page Google ranking would be to invest in " One Hour Google " from Mike Cowles and is highly recommended.

Πώς λειτουργεί η Google

As an Internet marketer a fast method of traffic on our website or page compression is known as Search Engine Optimization (SEO). It is the only way-many people choose to use other methods to drive traffic to their site, but is more later.
Google uses a system where it ranks pages from a website-websites are not yourself pages , but-so you can have a website with hundreds of pages, only a few are ranked by Google.
Thus, using Google to search for something, using what is known as a keyword – in this context, a keyword is actually a string of words that we use for the search. When you press will provide search results-page results is known as SERPS that means search engine result pages.
SERPS pages are actually two sets of results-those to pink at the top and bottom right side of the screen is what you are sponsors known as a results, i.e. someone pays for them not to appear, but when they click the holder must pay Google. Sponsorship or paid results amount to approximately 15% of the page.
The remainder, the majority are organic known as in the more the search engine, in this case Google picked these pages of relevant sites like winning the keyword marks in the first place. Also, they are the most popular for individuals, click.
Placed on page one search is what everyone wants-and not when it can mean thousands of visits to your site per month ...So how do we get a page?
Google wants people to trust the client's experience, they want to be a good ...It is good for Google if someone searches for the holidays and pages of results for clothes, so to speak, comes back.
Algorithms Google uses to determine which pages appear at the top of each search. Parts of this algorithm Started with content- good Google reward good content with a high priority in the SERPS.
They have also refund- remuneration be links from the page you selected back into the Web site or on another page of the same Web site ...
If the site you are on the page, is a popular site, so much the better, as it adds credibility, page and Google.
So, Google likes content and backlinks (far away) Google does not like squeeze pages. All we have is a page compression. This issue relates to content, I hear you ask? Why waste time trying to get our page on Google, if they do not like?
OK, so your page compression, may take one page of Google, but there is one way you can .. .not your compression page one and the same, obviously ... and how you appear on page one of Google n.. writing keyword rich articles (keyword research is covered in a separate article), then post to a list article, such as EzineArticles, already have fresh content and links, both helping with the requirements of Google ... What really could happen? You could be on a page in the online magazine with Google's liking for pages ... and you have an article which has been accepted and with Google's love for this site I could tile (s) with ... It displays a page of a successful ... I hope that now you can see how it works, Google ...
